The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Internal Sales professional to join our team at our Smeaton Grange Branch. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service and providing seamless sales and administrative support to customers across the region.
Your Role
As an Internal Sales, you will play a key role in supporting customers and the external sales team by:
Processing inbound sales orders via phone, email and over the counter
Assisting Account Managers with order entry, customer follow-up and coordination
Responding to customer enquiries with timely and accurate information
Maintaining sales and customer records within company systems
Preparing reports, quotes and updating customer databases
Coordinating warranty claims and liaising with internal teams
Supporting showroom displays, brochures and sales materials as required
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in internal sales, administration or customer service
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management capability
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A collaborative team-focused approach, with the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Knowledge of the timber or building products industry (advantageous)
Understanding of WHS practices (valued)
