Job description
• Prepare high quality, innovative and functional design
• Go on site visits to meet clients
• Source raw materials and products
1) Using AutoCAD Software to create drawings and specifications for furniture pieces.
2) Working with seniors/ Production Team to ensure designs can be feasibly manufactured.
3) Staying updated with Industry trends and technologies to improve design processes and production Quality
4) Meet with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
5) Conduct site analyses and assessments to inform design decisions
6) Develop and present design concepts, including space planning, materials, and finishes
7) Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documents for construction and installation
8) Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained
+) Select and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment(FF&E)
10) Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
11) Ensure designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals
12) Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies
