River's Edge Insurance Solutions, a leading surplus lines insurance brokerage and managing general agent licensed in all 50 states, is seeking a skilled Attorney with a background in insurance law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the legal and compliance aspects of our operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and supporting the development and maintenance of insurance policies.

In this role you will:
• Provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of issues related to surplus lines insurance, including regulatory compliance, policy drafting and contractual matters
• Develop and review insurance policies to ensure accuracy, compliance with state regulations, and alignments with company objectives
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential business opportunities or partnerships, assessing legal risks and compliance implications
• Interface with fronting companies to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to insurance operations and business transactions
