Position Title Instrumentation Design Engineer Company Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited Grade / Level V Division / Department Engineering
Job Purpose
Job Description :
• Preparation of instruments data sheets, hook up drawings for process / pneumatics.
• Understanding of Project timelines and align with peers/inter department colleagues for effective project execution.
• Able to interpret P & ID’s, identify Field, Panel/ Soft tags.
• Clear understanding of Process interlocks, dynamos and signages.
• To understand the Process logics for proper Field instrumentation.
• Knowledge and trouble shooting of Analyzers, control valves, etc.
• Understanding of P&ID and Preparation instrumentation I/O database in the DCS system.
• Knowledge of control philosophy for plant automation.
• Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level Controllers etc.)
• Knowledge of DCS / PLCs and Ladder Logic Programs
• To determine requirement, indenting, follow up for instruments and their spares and their checking prior to their acceptance for storage / use.
• Ensuring availability of required latest Standards.
• Guide technicians for day to day activity and monitor their progress.
• Ensure proper addressing of non-conformities thru’ root cause analysis using Why Why technique, preparation of Monthly Reports, Update Instrument Tag list periodically, Prepare Weekly Maintenance Schedule and its updating as per IMS guidelines and system requirements.
• Should have hands on SAP System for material requirement creation and WBS Elements
• Ensure daily logbook factually and fully reflects activities carried out.
• Understanding Integrated Management Systems, and Safety procedures for carrying out JSA and ability to prepare SOP’s.
