Additional Information:
This role is permanent part-time and range 40hrs/fortnight.
The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker.
The shift times required to work will be spread between 7:00am to +:00pm weekdays and weekends.
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with food standards by keeping it clean and organised.
Food preparation and cooking with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
Operating the industrial dishwashing machine and sorting cutlery.
You must be comfortable standing and working at the sink, as this is where your main duties will preside.
Prioritising strict cooking timelines and multi-tasking under pressure during rush hours.
Using your IKEA Food knowledge to exceed customer expectations, confidently answering their questions so they can make informed purchase decisions.
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are or have:
Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
High customer-centric approach as you will focus on ensuring our customers have a positive dining experience.
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is essential.
Prior commercial cooking experience is required for this role.
An energetic and team-focused approach as this department can become extremely busy.
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
