About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Network and Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain and continuously improve the College’s network and infrastructure systems.

In this role, you will provide leadership and operational management of the College’s network and infrastructure environment, including data and voice networks, security, performance monitoring and unified communications.

Working as part of a collaborative ICT Services team, you will design, implement and maintain secure, high-performing and reliable infrastructure solutions that support teaching, learning and business operations.

You will contribute to infrastructure strategy, project delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient and aligned with organisational requirements.

This role includes a strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing, ensuring all practices align with the College’s Child Protection policies, duty of care obligations and relevant legislative requirements.

About you

Proven experience managing enterprise network and infrastructure environments
Demonstrated experience managing Palo Alto, Microsoft 365 stack with expertise in exchange, VMWare, Veeam, Cisco Meraki Switching and Wireless, Saasyan, JAMF, Teams Voice and Integriti building security
Extensive experience in network engineering, including the design, evaluation and implementation of WAN, data centre, security, cloud and communications technologies
Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects within scope and budget, from design through to implementation
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external vendors and suppliers
Ability to translate infrastructure requirements into practical, scalable solutions
Strong troubleshooting capability across complex network and infrastructure environments
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Desirable:

Industry accreditation/ certifications such as ITIL, CCNA or CCNP
Ability to present technical solutions and business cases to stakeholders

Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all students
Ability to uphold and implement the College’s Student Safety and Wellbeing policies
Ability to apply a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach in all child wellbeing activities and child safety matters
Completion of mandatory Child Protection training prior to undertaking duties
