ICM Business Manager Financial amp Management Reporting C13

Role and Team Summary:

Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), a new function in the 1st Line of Defense, to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed across its Institutional Client Group organization.

ICM’s objective is to provide integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit risk across the enterprise.

This role will report into the Financial and Management reporting lead within ICM’s Chief Administrative Office, and will focus on delivering against the department’s requirements for Financial and Management reporting. This will include assisting in Budgeting and Forecasting efforts along with providing analytical support to ICM’s senior leaders for various critical initiatives.

The incumbent will be working closely with the wider ICM teams, first- and second-line groups, Business Managers, Control teams as well as partner areas such as Finance, HR, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze Financial and Headcount Metrics for ICM senior management and regional head
Prepare regular and ad-hoc presentations for senior stakeholders
Develop management reporting tools to monitor KPI’s
Proactively partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to develop and deliver best-in-class Financial, Budget and Expense Management reporting to support strategic decisions
Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
Analyze expenses and prepare fiscal budgets and allocations
Maintain and update the managed segment hierarchy
Provide general analytical support to Business Heads and other Business Managers
Prepare department-wide presentations to discuss quarterly performance (e.g., Town Halls)
Prepare deep-dive presentations for regulatory reviews / meetings on behalf of Business Heads
Collaborate with Business Heads and other Business Managers to consolidate overviews and updates
Liaise with HR to manage / monitor the hiring process and develop appropriate controls and reporting to ensure discipline regarding budgeted commitments
Interface with the centralized staffing office on contractor hiring requirements and partner with business managers to forecast headcount
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Business Managers to integrate businesses as ICM goes live
Assist with capacity planning, real estate analytics and location strategy
Qualifications and Competencies:

6-10 years of relevant experience
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas)
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Experience with databases, information management, and visualization tools
Experience preparing Senior Management / Regulatory presentations
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all levels of management and geographic locations
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
