IBM AS400 iSeries Software Engineer

About the role

This position requires a deep understanding of IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming, as well as experience with Integrated Language Environment (ILE). You will be responsible for designing and developing efficient RPG/CL programs that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality RPG/CL programs using various tools and technologies.
• Design and implement efficient solutions to complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
• Expert-level knowledge of Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
• Ability to create and debug complex programs.

Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).

Main skills: RPGLE, ILE, program design, development, and maintenance.
