Job Description

Lightning Lanes is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources On-boarding Specialist to join our team and drive the seamless integration of new talent into our organization. In this vital role, you will coordinate and execute on-boarding processes, ensuring new hires experience a welcoming and informative introduction to our company culture, policies, and systems. Your energetic approach will help foster positive relationships from day one, setting the stage for long-term engagement and success. Shift

Monday through Thursday

8:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Duties

Manage the end-to-end on-boarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions, documentation collection, and system setup using tools like Workday, iCIMS, or PeopleSoft.

Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection to on-boarding completion.

Conduct employee orientation sessions that cover company policies, benefits enrollment, employment contracts, and compliance with employment & labor law standards.

Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever or Taleo to monitor on-boarding progress and maintain accurate records.

Facilitate communication between new hires and internal teams to foster engagement through social media management and relationship management strategies.

Coordinate training & development programs to support new employee integration and ongoing talent development initiatives.

Support employee relations by addressing on-boarding inquiries promptly and providing exceptional customer service throughout the on-boarding journey.

Assist in talent acquisition efforts by participating in campus recruitment events, cold calling potential candidates, and leveraging HRIS platforms like Kronos or UltiPro for data management.

Experience

Proven experience in human resources sourcing, recruiting, or on-boarding roles with a focus on technical recruiting or executive recruiting preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Salesforce, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.

Familiarity with employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliance during on-boarding processes.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and build relationships across diverse teams.

Demonstrated ability in negotiation, research, lead generation, and succession planning to support strategic HR initiatives.

Experience conducting interviews and employee evaluations to support talent management efforts.

Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
