The Impact You'll Make
Join Danfoss as a Payroll Specialist (US & Canada Payroll) and play a key role in ensuring employees across North America are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with local regulations. Your work will directly support employee experience, operational excellence, and business confidence.
Based in Oragadam, Chennai, India, you will collaborate with colleagues across HR, Finance, and external payroll partners to deliver seamless payroll operations for the United States and Canada. This role offers exposure to global processes and international stakeholder collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Process US and Canadian payroll activities accurately and on schedule, ensuring employees receive correct pay and benefits.
• Partner with payroll vendors, HR, and Finance teams to deliver compliant payroll operations and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain payroll and employee data with a strong focus on accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and payroll-related insights that support financial reporting and decision-making.
• Support employees with payroll-related questions, helping create a positive and trusted employee experience.
What We're Looking For
• Experience managing US and/or Canadian payroll with a solid understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience using payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Ceridian, Workday, Paycom, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency to validate payroll data, perform reconciliations, and support reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across functions while managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Flexibility to work with stakeholders across time zones, including partial alignment with US business hours.
