Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in . The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth overnight operations of the hotel, including financial reconciliation, guest service, and maintaining the security of the property. This position is ideal for individuals with hospitality management experience who excel in customer service and have strong organizational skills. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest demographic. The Night Auditor will work overnight shifts, providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring all front desk and administrative tasks are completed accurately during their shift.
Duties
Perform nightly financial audits, including balancing accounts and reconciling transactions using hotel management software
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently during late hours, providing friendly and professional customer service
Respond to guest inquiries via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system management
Maintain accurate records of daily revenue, expenses, and other financial data
Assist with guest services such as resolving issues, providing information about hotel amenities, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring the premises during overnight hours
Prepare reports for management regarding nightly activities and financial summaries
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight issues or requests
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality management, front desk operations, or hotel management preferred
Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and guest services within a resort or hotel environment
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality standards
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Prior experience working in a fast-paced hospitality setting is advantageous
