Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Residential Linen Specialist with the Rosewood Hotel Group, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our laundry department. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will ensure that all hotel linens are processed efficiently and effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
Process Hotel Linens: Separate and process hotel bed linens, terry, and food and beverage table linens according to hotel specifications.
Clean and Press Garments: Clean, press, and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles.
Maintain Inventory: Maintain accurate records of laundry items and perform inventory checks to ensure that supplies are adequate.
Report Maintenance Needs: Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues to your supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous Experience: Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience is preferred.
Skill Set: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, squat, and reach overhead.
