Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary:
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff is our top priority. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities)
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly (toilets, sinks, showers)
• Replace linens and towels and report any damage or shortages
• Restock minibar and room supplies as needed
• Report maintenance issues or lost items promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas (hallways, lifts, lobbies)
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly
• Assist with laundry tasks if required
• Respect guest privacy and hotel security protocols
Requirements:
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Will to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
