Profile Title: History & MUN Trainer
Profile Location: Thane
Profile Type: Part Time
Who can apply?
● Candidates with a graduate or postgraduate background in History, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Law, Public Policy, or related disciplines.
● Individuals with prior teaching, debating, Model United Nations (MUN), or youth leadership experience.
● Candidates experienced in working with school students across different age groups.
● Professionals with strong research, public speaking, and classroom management skills who are open to structured curriculum delivery.
What skills are we looking out for?
● Excellent command of spoken and written English.
● Strong understanding of world history, current affairs, geopolitics, and international relations.
● Ability to simplify complex historical and political concepts for students.
● Strong public speaking, facilitation, and moderation skills.
● Ability to encourage critical thinking, research, and analytical discussions.
● High energy levels to conduct engaging and interactive classroom sessions.
● Patient, observant, and approachable teaching style.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Facilitation
● Conduct interactive sessions on History, current affairs, diplomacy, international relations, and Model United Nations procedures.
● Train students in research, resolution writing, debating, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
● Introduce students to global issues, foreign policy, parliamentary procedures, and committee simulations.
● Prepare students for inter-school MUN conferences, debates, and related competitions.
Event Preparation, Administrative & Collaborative Work
● Ideate, prepare, and execute a standalone Gyansthan MUN or History-based event during the academic year (e.g., MUN conference, debate competition, historical simulation, or youth parliament).
● Submit session plans and progress reports regularly.
● Maintain attendance and student performance records.
● Participate in meetings, event planning discussions, and curriculum enhancement activities.
Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹1,000.00 per day
