Job Description:
To oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the pre-primary curriculum, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young learners. The Pre-Primary Coordinator acts as a mentor and leader to the pre-primary teaching staff, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and child care.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:
Develop and implement an age-appropriate, activity-based curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards.
Plan and supervise lesson plans, teaching methods, and classroom practices.
Organize regular academic audits and classroom observations to ensure quality standards.
Coordinate with the curriculum team for periodic reviews and updates.
Staff Supervision Development:
Guide, mentor, and support pre-primary teachers in instructional strategies and classroom management.
Conduct orientation and regular training programs for teaching staff.
Facilitate collaboration among team members through regular meetings and feedback sessions.
Child Development Safety:
Ensure a safe, hygienic, and emotionally supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and address developmental or behavioral concerns with appropriate interventions.
Engage with parents regularly to provide feedback on student development and address concerns.
Events Activities:
Plan and coordinate school events, celebrations, and parent-engagement activities related to the pre-primary section.
Encourage experiential learning through field trips, theme-based activities, and interactive sessions.
Administration Reporting:
Maintain records of attendance, academic progress, teacher performance, and incident reports.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and early childhood education regulations.
Submit periodic reports and updates to the Principal or Management.
Qualifications Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education / Education / Child Psychology.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or early years education, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership/coordinator role.
Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and curriculum frameworks.
