We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer from Gandhinagar to join our high-impact project team responsible for building a hydrogen production facility.
This role will play a crucial part in developing, monitoring, and optimizing project schedules to ensure that all construction activities align with the execution strategy, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Location: Gandhinagar Gujarat
Job Type: Full-Time
Industry: Renewable Energy / Construction / Engineering Job
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate all phases of the project into a cohesive master schedule.
• Monitor construction progress and identify schedule deviations; propose corrective and recovery plans.
• Conduct critical path analysis and provide insights on risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules.
• Support Gandhinagar project manager with schedule risk assessments and scenario analysis.
• Liaise with subcontractors to gather updates and align construction sequencing.
• Ensure all planning efforts adhere to HSE, quality, and environmental standards.
• Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders regarding project timelines and expectations.
• Assist with claim analysis and change management, particularly regarding time impact evaluations.
Qualifications and Skills for Planning Engineer jobs in Gandhinagar:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction or energy sector from Gandhinagar will be preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with green hydrogen or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of critical path method (CPM) and schedule risk analysis.
