Heavy Mechanic

Location: Miramichi, NB and surrounding area

Type: Full-time

Pay: To be discussed based on experience

Tools: Basics provided

Responsibilities:

· Maintenance and repair of any fleet vehicles and heavy equipment

· Includes pickup trucks, heavy equipment, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, plow trucks, power and utility bucket trucks, etc.

· Inspections and preventative maintenance

· Maintaining accurate service records

· Responding to on-site repairs as needed

· Keeping work areas safe, clean, and organized

· Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset

Requirements:

· Proven mechanical experience (red seal certification considered an asset)

· Valid Class 5 drivers license (airbrakes and other classes considered an asset)

· Strong work ethic and reliability

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on call as needed
