Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. The person in this role is responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and building strong relationships with clients in the engineering and related sectors. Daily tasks include presenting products and services, preparing and following up on quotations, negotiating terms within company guidelines, and closing sales to achieve commission-based targets. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, and providing ongoing account management and support. The Commission Sales Associate is also expected to monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and share feedback to help refine sales strategies and offerings.
Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical and commercial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability in customer relationship management, including lead generation, follow-up, and long-term client engagement.
• Basic understanding of engineering or technical products and services, or willingness to quickly learn and adapt to technical concepts.
• Results-oriented mindset with experience working toward sales targets, commissions, or performance-based incentives.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, meetings, and follow-ups efficiently.
• Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for CRM, reporting, and remote collaboration (e.g., spreadsheets, online meeting tools, email, and messaging apps).
• Ability to work independently, travel within the Pune Division as needed, and manage a hybrid work schedule effectively.
• Prior sales or business development experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
