Job Description

DRM Heavy Duty Towing is an industry leader in heavy truck towing and recovery, the DRM brand has been a staple of professionalism in Western Canada Heavy Towing since 2002. We are currently expanding our fleet to meet customer needs and looking to add new operators to our team. 3-5 years of previous heavy towing or equipment hauling experience is required.

Qualifications:

- Class 1 License (Clean Abstract)

- Rotating Weekly Shift Schedule

- Reliable Personal Transportation

- Physically Fit (Capable of lifting in excess of 50 pounds at a time).

- Basic Load Securement and Rigging Knowledge

- Hours of Service Training / Experience

- Attention to Detail with Company Owned Trucks and Customer Equipment

- Ability to operate smart phone / tablet applications (Dispatch, Log Book and Etc.)

- Most importantly a good attitude and strong desire to succeed in a team atmosphere!

Job Duties:

- Operate Heavy Tow Trucks / Sliding Axle Trailer Units on a scheduled shift.

- Rotating on call shifts for evenings, holidays and weekends.

- Communicate with dispatch to receive jobs and assignments.

- Tow customer vehicles as per request of dispatch.

- Haul equipment, containers and damaged vehicles on recovery trailers.

- Attend collision scenes and assist the recovery team with duties on scene.

- Assist in light maintenance, cleaning and organizing of company units.

- Perform trip inspections on assigned units for each shift.

- Complete invoicing at the end of each shift.

- Take part in completing monthly truck reports on units you have operated.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
