Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The engineer will design, review, and optimize HVAC systems for commercial and industrial environments, ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily responsibilities include developing HVAC layouts and specifications, producing technical drawings using CAD software, and collaborating with project managers and other engineering disciplines on system integration. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, and performance testing of HVAC equipment, as well as diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repair tasks, and recommending system upgrades. The engineer will also prepare documentation, reports, and cost estimates, and support continuous improvement of HVAC processes and best practices.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong HVAC Engineering and HVAC Design skills, including system sizing, load calculations, and equipment selection.
• Candidates should possess practical HVAC knowledge, with hands-on experience in installation, operation, and performance optimization of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating and updating HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for diagnosing faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring reliable system operation.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with coursework or specialization in HVAC.
• Understanding of local and international HVAC standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, read engineering drawings, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience in commercial or industrial HVAC projects in a fast-paced environment is an advantage.
