Duties
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs for employees, focusing on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Collaborate with management to create safety policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
Provide guidance on the safe fabrication of materials and equipment, ensuring all processes meet safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of safety training sessions, inspections, incidents, and compliance reports.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.
Requirements
Proven experience in a safety officer role or similar position, with a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey safety information to employees at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with COR Certification
