Job Purpose : The role holder is responsible for trigger-based collteral visits, property valuation confirmation, identification and recommendation of acceptable collateral, defining regional / state / market specific policies, vendor management and monitoring, TAT monitoring, interaction with internal stakeholders, compliance with process, policies, and delegation of authority, and review of internal policy, valuation methodology, report formats, market trends, and so on. Functional Responsibilities : 1) Thorough knowledge of local building codes, local market practises, and a competitive approach to real-estate lending
2) Subject matter expert for development of Property Appraisal System - Legal & Valuation aspects. Review of Valuations of Large Properties and/or Projects. Review of existing policies, process & streamlining/development of best suited policy, processes for Mortgages and Training of the team for the same. 3) Vendor Management \xe2\x80\x+3 deep knowledge about technical specific agencies, identification, empanelment and management of those agencies and management of work allocation, billing, payment, counter verification and performance benchmark and monitoring. o Relationship Management - effective communicator, negotiator, extremely good connects in peer bank\xe2\x80\x++s technical team, property brokers, builders and valuation agencies (empanelled and non-empanelled) o Train and manage a team of technical mangers/ officers and outsourced technical agencies. Responsible for productivity. 4) Deliver valuation reports within agreed TAT to various departments as per their requirements 5) Scrutinize and approve builder projects under APF (Advance Processing Facility) 6) Cross audit valuations conducted by his/her team to check the accuracy of such reports 7) Track real estate price movements and update the property price index
