Head of Operations and Technology
Company : Start Up Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), (New Venture by a leading Automotive Manufacturing Group)
Location: Faridabad , Delhi (NCR)
Department: Operations and Technology
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Summary: The Head of Operations and Technology will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational and technological aspects of the NBFC's commercial vehicle finance division. The role requires a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle finance industry, operational excellence, and the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the operations and technology strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes and technology solutions.
2. Operational Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end operational processes related to commercial vehicle financing, including loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, and collection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
3. Technology Management:
- Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of technology infrastructure and systems.
4. Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing operations and technology team.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members to foster professional growth and development.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, finance, and risk management, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business initiatives.
- Engage with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of operations and technology initiatives.
- Analyze data and generate insights to drive informed decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations and technology management within the financial services industry, with a focus on commercial vehicle finance.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle financing products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement technology solutions to achieve business objectives.
