Role Description The Head of Marketing and Public Relations is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for shaping and executing Horizon’s brand, marketing, and PR strategy across digital and offline channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing integrated marketing plans, overseeing campaigns that drive user and business acquisition, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints. The role also involves managing public relations initiatives, cultivating media relationships, coordinating press releases and thought leadership content, and handling external communications during key announcements. The Head of Marketing and Public Relations will collaborate closely with product, growth, and leadership teams to align marketing and PR efforts with company objectives, track performance metrics, and optimize strategies based on data and market feedback.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Market Planning and Marketing Management to design and lead comprehensive marketing strategies.
Experience in Market Research to gather insights, understand audience behavior, and inform positioning and campaigns.
Demonstrated ability in Sales-related collaboration, including supporting go-to-market plans and revenue-focused initiatives.
Proven Public Relations expertise, including media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management.
Prior leadership experience in marketing or communications, preferably in consumer tech or community-focused platforms.
Ability to develop and manage brand positioning, storytelling, and content across multiple channels.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools and performance measurement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and results to senior stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and leading cross-functional teams.
