The Role:

At Stonesedge, we're all about good times, great drinks, and even better company. Nestled right in the heart of Whistler Village, our spot is where locals and visitors alike come to kick back, relax, and sip on something special.

Combining old-school vibes with new-school drinks, the bar features international and local wines, seasonal craft beers, and a creative cocktail list. Stonesedge Kitchen embraces rustic elegance, effortless charm, and is polished without being fussy.

We are on the lookout for a Head Bartender who will lead our team to create a 5* experience and take our guests on a journey through are specially crafted cocktail list, elegant wine collection, and delectable food menu.

Responsibilities:

Full sales product knowledge.
Take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests, ensuring timely and professional service.
Mix and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
Oversee and support bartenders to ensure consistency in drink preparation and service.
Process payments and accurately record sales.
Maintain and track bar inventory, restocking as needed.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
Lead and delegate opening duties as needed, including setting up the bar, stocking garnishes, prepping ingredients, and verifying equipment functionality.
Supervise and execute closing duties as needed, ensuring cleaning, security, and end-of-shift responsibilities are completed.
Promote and sell Après Passes and TAG experiences to guests.
Follow all provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
Other duties as reasonably directed.
Requirements:

Experience in hospitality
Strong wine and cocktail knowledge
Guest experience focused involving growing and supporting community connections
Administration and computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft products and POS
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong communication skills
Serving It Right certification
