We're Hiring a GST Manager -Chartered Accountant for a leading CA Firm
Designation: Manager/Senior Manager - GST & Indirect Tax
Qualifictaion & Experience: Chartered Accountant with 2-4 yrs experience
Skill: Excellent communication - verbal and written + knowledge of gst advisory and litigation would be an added advantage
Locaion: Mumbai -Ghatkopar
Job Summary:
The GST Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance for the clients of the organization. This role involves staying current with GST regulations, ensuring accurate and timely filing of GST returns, advising on GST implications for business decisions, and collaborating with various departments to ensure adherence to GST guidelines.
- Experience of handling GST matters, E-way Bill. E-invoicing and also erstwhile Indirect tax laws (Excise,Service tax, VAT/CST, Customs, Entry Tax etc.).
- Ability to work independently, multi-tasking, effectively prioritizing work and real-time management and reporting of assignment in hand.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to manage work/ discussions with external and internal stake-holders.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Indirect Tax Compliance & Governance
- Responsible for end to end GST compliance, return filing & GST Audits i.e. ensuring GST payments and GST returns of all states/ locations are filed on timely manner
- Review of GST credit admissibility - Enable accuracy in availment of GST input credits
- Implementing automation in the Tax function to bring economy of time/ efforts and eliminate redundancies.
- Monthly GST budget preparation, GST payments and reconciliation of all GST receivable & payable
- Review of GST credit admissibility - Enable accuracy in availment of GST input credits by serving as bridge between ASP and Internal teams for ITC reconciliation i.e. GSTR 2A vs Inward Register.
- Track & follow-up open issues with plant locations.
- Coordinate with Accounts payable team to ensure payments are blocked for non-compliant vendors
- Obtaining GST registrations, follow-up and address queries raised by GST authorities on related matters.
- Timely filing of refunds and follow-up with GST authorities/ addressing issues wherever delays occur.
- Responsible for regular check on the E-way bill & E-invoice compliances
- Review and continuous reduction in blockage of credits due to GRIR & IGST clearances

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
