Job Description
Hiring Group Head Copy to work with leading digital advertising agency and grab the exciting opportunity to work on global brands and win awards.
The Group Head Copy is responsible for all creative produced for one or more brands, depending on the size.
They must be certain that all creative produced meets the standards set by the agency and the client, in addition, the Creative Supervisor is hands-on, and does an appropriate proportion of writing as well.
Specifically, the Group Head Copy has the following responsibilities:
• Team with Copywriters to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns
• Take on appropriate writing projects and own them, start to finish
• Know the product data and claims, and those of the competition, inside out
• Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects
• Estimate creative hours
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Attend market research as appropriate
• Share responsibility with planning to shape strategic branding
• Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the creative team, ensuring that everyone is busy and billable.
• Provide written feedback for annual performance reviews, and ongoing feedback on the performance of the creative team (written when requested)
• Lead the creative team in development of concepts and execution of all projects from conception to completion
• Demonstrate to clients that you understand and appreciate their products and their marketing challenges and are responsive to their strategic and creative needs
• Represent the agency at client meetings and social events as required
• Understand and represent agency positioning, philosophy, and processes.
• Qualifications:
• 7+ years’ agency experience
• A proven track record of creative ability and judgment, successful client contact experience, the ability to work collaboratively with account management, excellent presentation skills, successful experience in managing creative writers, availability to travel and the commitment to go the extra mile, in time and effort to produce the very best work
