This role involves assisting with various site activities, supporting construction and landscaping projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks. Duties
Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials
Loading and unloading materials and equipment as required
Digging trenches, foundations, or holes using hand tools or machinery under supervision
Assisting with the installation of fencing, paving, or landscaping features
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Supporting skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
Ensuring all tools and equipment are used safely and stored correctly after use
Reporting any safety hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Skills
Basic knowledge of construction sites and safety procedures is advantageous
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
Valid UK driving licence is essential
Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided
