Job Description for Graphic Designer_ Upasana Group
As a graphic designer at Upasana Group, you have to design graphics for use in social media platforms. Typical activities include:
• Liaising with your manager to understand the requirements.
• Managing proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
• Designing creatives for social media platforms like Instagram, linked in, Facebook, you tube.
• Market research of relevant industry and creating content for Upasana’s social media.
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
• Proofreading content for error and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audiences.
• Identifying customers- needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
Job Requirements:
• Must have complete knowledge of using photo shop, illustrator and coral draw.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
