Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in project or contract administration? Join the Department for Energy and Mining as a Grants Administration Officer and play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives through effective grant and contract management.

About the Role
As the Grants Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the administration and management of grant deeds and contracts across a range of nominated projects. You’ll also provide general project administrative support to ensure smooth operations, contractual compliance, and timely communication across all project activities.

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to engage with internal teams and a variety of stakeholders, support events and workshops, and help track and report on project progress and outcomes.

Key Selection Criteria:

Experience working on a variety of projects and contract management engagements.
Experience in the preparation of briefings, reports and the development of recommendations for senior management.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels and from a range of backgrounds.
Ability to build and manage effective relationships with staff across a range of government agencies, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent government and/or industry experience.

Remuneration:
ASO5 salary range $85,7+0 - $+5,413 per annum + superannuation
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week

Special Conditions:
This is a contract/term vacancy up to 30 June 2028
