Government Department EL1 Strategic Designer Officers

Contract up to 30th June 2025, equivalent to approximately 12 months.
$70 - $80 per hour + Superannuation.
EL1 Equivalent Salary.

About the Role
This role requires proactive, creative individuals with 3+ years' experience working across government. As an EL1 Strategic Designer Officer, you will develop and implement human-centred, evidence-based design to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement human-centred, evidence-based design to support strategic decision-making.
Foster collaboration and drive discussions with stakeholders to co-create policies and solutions.
Facilitate immersive sessions, workshops, and showcases to align projects with government priorities and APS Reform.
Craft compelling narratives through verbal, written, and visual communication methods.
Align projects with government priorities and deliver impactful outcomes.
Create tangible frameworks, services, and products from innovative ideas.
Build cases for change using data, best practices, and stakeholder insights.
