About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our well-established Nelson team.
You'll work closely with experts across the country on a range of challenging projects. It's the best of both worlds: local variety and national exposure, contributing to projects across Aotearoa and the Pacific while being based in Nelson.
You'll be joining a collaborative local team while working alongside technical specialists across New Zealand.
Typical work includes:
Slope stability and retaining wall design
Foundation assessments and ground improvement
Site investigations and earthworks
Infrastructure, transport, land development, and resilience-focused projects
About You
You'll be curious, collaborative, and client-focused, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
Ideally you'll bring:
A Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related qualification
Experience delivering geotechnical investigations and design
Experience managing projects and working with clients
Working toward (or holding) CPEng or PEngGeol
A passion for delivering quality work and making a positive impact in your community
