Responsibilities:
• Scheduled Maintenance and Inspections: Perform regular maintenance on aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
• Repairs and Replacements: Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair or replace defective components.
• Welding and Soldering: Weld and solder aircraft parts as needed.
• Sheet Metal Work: Conduct repairs and fabrications using sheet metal.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Team Coordination: Work closely with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets safety standards.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
