Responsibilities
• Manage MSSQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting existing databases with HA-DR (High Availability - Disaster Recovery) solutions such as replication, log shipping backup and restore.
• Configure & Monitor Performance/Storage/Memory alerts on all Production Azure/AWS Servers to ensure high availability of data.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong database migration/up-gradation experience (on-prem to cloud).
• Support Application Team during application deployment/release across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments over weekends.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
