In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and manage cash operations will contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to enhance customer experience.
• Provide technical sales support by explaining product features and benefits to customers.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Utilize time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
Qualifications
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with technical sales experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
