Requirements:
As part of the cloud initiative in Manufacturing Process Simulation group in Pune we are looking for an excellent software engineer to develop web based applications in 3D (WebGL) environment.
Required technical skill:-
Primary Skills :Agile Software Development, Angular JS, Node.Js
Secondary Skills :Three.js, manual and automation testing, C AWS
Must
• Graduated with B.E. (Computer Science or equivalent) with good grades, M.E./M.Tech is an advantage.
• Experience of 3 to 5 years of which 2 years or more with web technologies - client or server.
• Full-stack development: Angular, Node.js
• Independent, creative and self-motivated team player with passion for constant learning and change.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English (reading, writing, speaking).
A Plus
• An advantage would be given for candidates with experience in one or more of the following fields:
o Test automation (both unit and workflow testing)
o One or more cloud platforms (AWS preferable).
o Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
o WebGL (Three.js or any other framework).
o .NET technologies / C#.
Job Description:
The position is a full stack developer position in a highly motivated, self-organizing team. The product that is developed is a young cloud solution (just recently released to the market) that enables simulation engineers to review simulation studies with relevant stakeholders in an easy fashion.
The responsibilities of this developer include analyzing customer requirements, finding appropriate designs, implementing those and validating that they work as expected.
All relevant layers are to be touched: frontend, backend and APIs that run in the on prem instance of the simulation tool.
The tasks at hand also include supporting the system operations, analyzing failures when they occur and fixing bugs in the application.
As the team is following agile practices also estimating efforts and participating in the planning of the development phases is part of the job
