Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with experience in WordPress to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based applications, both front-end and back-end, and ensuring high-performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
They will also be responsible for communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain WordPress-based applications, both front-end and back-end, using industry standards and best practices.
· Build custom WordPress themes and plugins, and customize existing ones as needed.
· Collaborate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and as per the desired specifications
· Perform quality assurance checks and testing to ensure that projects meet functional requirements and are bug-free.
· Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
· Monitor and analyze all site performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and make recommendations for improvements.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies, and apply them to improve the development process.
· Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
· Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information technology, Computer Applications or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development, with a solid understanding of the WordPress ecosystem.
· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
· Experience working with MySQL databases and optimizing database performance.
· Knowledge of Git version control system.
· Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
· Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
