Job Title: Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)
Location: Bangalore (BCIT)
Experience: 3 to 5 years
I. Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of professional experience and a proven track record of building and deploying high-performance, scalable web applications. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing core products, requiring a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end JavaScript frameworks. The developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern, responsive, and efficient web solutions using the MERN stack with a strong focus on React, Next.js, Fastify, and TypeScript.
II. Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Develop robust and efficient API services using Node.js and Fastify, focusing on speed, scalability, and minimal overhead.
• Build and maintain modern, server-side rendered (SSR) and static front-ends using Next.js for fast, SEO-friendly experiences.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and consistency across the stack by implementing and championing TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Identify, debug, and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
• Contribute to improving development workflows, automation, and CI/CD processes.
III. Years Of Experience
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development using modern JavaScript frameworks.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications in React, JavaScript, or Node.js will be an added advantage.
Must Have
V. Skill Set Required:
• Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Expertise in React and Next.js (including SSR, routing, and deployment models).
• Proficiency in Fastify for high-performance API development.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, promises, and the event loop in Node.js.
• Familiarity with state management in React (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).
• Experience with modern deployment practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Have
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Working knowledge of GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
