Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer – Full Stack is developing and maintaining modular and reusable backend and front-end components using Angular, NodeJS, and AWS . The Engineer is instrumental in profiling and improving backend application performance, mentor team members and take end-to-end technical ownership of applications and must be able to stay on top of technology changes in the market and continuously look for opportunities to leverage new technology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Developing new complex functionality and maintain existing codebase in an environment.
• handling large volumes of data with demands for high availability.
• Produce high quality code that is easy to understand and maintain.
• Modify existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new hardware,
• improve performance or enhance product usability.
• Ability to perform key roles within the Agile methodology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / related engineering field OR equivalent experience
• in related field
• 3 - 8 years of experience in Angular, Nodejs, AWS Web applications development.
• Experience in Java is plus.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Deep understanding of REST API integration.
• SQL and Databases Relational DBMS is plus
• Strong unit testing ability, test-oriented separation of concerns
• Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Good written, verbal communication skills
• Able to work autonomously with little direction. They should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of their work. The candidate should have a track record of delivering high-quality work on time and have excellent problem-solving skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively, while keeping stakeholders informed of progress. The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to make decisions independently.
