Job description
As an Analyst in the Firmwide Financial Control (FFC) team, you will act as a strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging both technology and finance skills to drive effective financial solutions. Your role will involve ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting legal entity control, and participating in process improvements and system implementations.

Job Responsibilities
• Partner with Financial and Legal Entity Controllers to prepare and review financial statements for multiple JP Morgan legal entities across global jurisdictions
• Research, escalate, and resolve exceptions in the general ledger and other interfacing systems to maintain data integrity
• Perform monthly General Ledger Reconciliation and Substantiation (GLRS) processes in alignment with firmwide standards
• Ensure compliance with various regulatory reporting requirements during the month-end close and reporting cycle
• Maintain the accuracy of reference data used in account hierarchies and financial mappings
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other project-related initiatives involving system enhancements or business process changes

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• 1–4 years of relevant experience (CA or MBA preferred)
• Foundational knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS regulatory standards
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
• Comfortable working with general ledger systems and interfacing applications
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to interact across multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Strong accounting and finance fundamentals with a detail-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with investment banking products (e.g., securities, derivatives)
• Understanding of financial data flows and how they impact ledger and reporting systems (e.g., RMS)
• Ability to identify business requirements and influence cross-functional stakeholders to implement effective solutions
• Prior experience in a financial controller or legal entity controller role is advantageous

• Achieving stretched targets in a result-focused environment,
• Preparing pre-sales proposals for prospective Kolar clients,
• Handling objections and resolving customer conflicts,
• Should have good communication, coordination and convincing skills,
• Identify and engage with key decision makers at prospective clients.
• Identifying potential customers and new business opportunities

Experience Required
• Minimum experience in of 1 year in Sales / Business Development in Kolar.
• Exposure to banking preferable
• Graduate with all the mark sheet and degree certificate
• Local from city will give first preference

Desired Profile:
• Presentable with decent personality,
• Easily identify sales opportunity from the Kolar market,
• Having basic knowledge of banking products and its processing,
• Ability to learn the new things within a short time span,
• Knowing local language with good communication skills, English will be add-on,
• Customer focused and willing to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional service
