Responsibilities:
• Contribute to features inside the CashBook product from development to release.
• Work with product, design, and backend teams to build and improve user-facing features.
• Build reusable UI components using React and TypeScript.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Use Storybook to build and document components.
• Work with APIs, data fetching, state management, and implement analytics tracking where required as part of the features.
• Use React Profiler and browser tools to identify and fix basic performance issues.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries or tools when needed, including basic research and proof of concepts.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and consistency.
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with Jest and Playwright.
• Experience with Storybook
• Basic understanding of analytics implementation in web applications.
• Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows.
Nice to Have:
• Exposure to TanStack Query.
• Experience with analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
• Understanding of basic performance optimisation in React applications.
• Experience working in product-based teams.
