Front of House Manager
Job Description
We are an independently owned and operated, seasonal Italian restaurant in the heart of the Arts District. Our menu changes frequently with the market, and our service style walks the line between casual neighborhood warmth and elevated, high-volume dining. We serve exceptional food and beverage without pretense — and we’re looking for a Front of House Manager who embodies that balance.
Who You Are
You have broad, hands-on experience across FOH roles and a genuine love for hospitality. You understand the rhythm of a busy dining room and know how to set the tone: warm, attentive, polished, and unpretentious. You lead from the floor, not the office — guiding, training, and supporting the team by example.
You take pride in the craft of service, have solid food and wine knowledge, and bring good judgment to every shift. You are energized by the business, invested in guest experience, and capable of coaching both seasoned staff and new team members with clarity and composure.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily FOH operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Lead, mentor, and train FOH team; model service standards on the floor
Maintain a welcoming, efficient, and consistent guest experience
Support scheduling, labor management, and operational planning
Work closely with ownership and BOH leadership to ensure smooth service
Uphold brand standards of warm, elevated, but non-pretentious hospitality
Help cultivate a positive and professional team culture
What You Bring
Broad FOH background (server, bartender, lead, supervisor, or prior management)
Strong hospitality IQ and genuine passion for the business
Solid food, wine, and beverage knowledge (Italian cuisine a plus)
Composure and leadership judgment in a busy dining room
Ability to communicate well, coach hands-on, and inspire confidence
Strong work ethic and reliability — open availability required
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest care
What We Offer
Competitive salary + performance incentives
PTO and Insurance package
A supportive ownership team with room to grow
A creative, ingredient-driven environment with seasonal menus
A chance to lead a respected Arts District restaurant with a strong following
If you love restaurants, thrive in high volume, and believe in thoughtful, heartfelt hospitality, we’d love to meet you.
