Front Desk Receptionist – Dermatology Office (South Orange County, CA)
WILL REQUIRE SOME DAYS AT OUR OTHER LOCATIONS – all very close to each other! (Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, San Clemente)
Must be able to thrive in a FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT!

Skincredible Dermatology & Surgery is an exciting, growing dermatology practice offering a full range of Cosmetic, Medical, and Surgical dermatology services.
We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist who will serve as the positive and welcoming face of our practice. This role requires someone who can balance multiple responsibilities with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview
The Receptionist/Front Desk is responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy setting, handles challenges with a positive attitude, and stays organized under pressure.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Handle heavy phone coverage (inbound and outbound calls)
Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
Greet patients promptly and assist with check-in/check-out
Collect and process payments
Prepare patient paperwork prior to appointments
Verify insurance (PPO and HMO) and obtain authorizations
Upload medical records daily
Maintain accurate and updated patient information in EMA (EMR system)
Assist with marketing materials and administrative tasks
Support follow-up communication with patients and leads via CRM, calls, texts, and emails
Promote practice services and patient programs
Some Saturday shifts required
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Dermatology or medical office experience
Pleasant, professional, and friendly demeanor
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
