Job Description
Fort Mitchell Veterinary Center is a family-owned small animal hospital located minutes from downtown Cincinnati. We are looking for a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our team of compassionate and professional individuals. We have built a strong reputation as a practice that provides patient first medicine with a focus on keeping our clients well informed of their pet’s medical management. We go above and beyond to ensure that our “pet parents” are treated with respect, compassion and understanding. We utilize state-of-the art technology, provide comprehensive healthcare, and use our local veterinary specialists appropriately.
Our team members are like family and are treated well with competitive pay and good work/life balance. We have several team members who have been with us since we opened 11 years ago. A positive work culture is very important to us.
We are seeking a full time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required in a veterinary hospital reception setting. Compensation will be based on education and experience.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Veterinary hospital as a receptionist
Has excellent communication and telephone skills
Is well spoken and handles themselves with maturity
Is detail oriented and able to multi-task
Has good technology and computer skills and general IT knowledge
Can handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
Enjoys working with animals and believes that pets are family members
Enjoys being part of a team and can work well with others
