We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm welcome and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accurate information is recorded in the system.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls, providing information about the resort's services and amenities.
Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and resort activities to enhance the guest experience.
Skills
Strong background in guest services with experience in front desk operations at hotels or resorts.
Excellent phone etiquette to manage calls professionally and courteously.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
