Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and qualified French Teacher to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching French as a second language, culturally sensitive, and committed to fostering a positive learning experience for students at various grade levels.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging French language instruction based on the Nova Scotia curriculum.
Develop lesson plans and assessments tailored to students’ learning levels.
Create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
Integrate Islamic values into daily classroom management and interactions.
Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (B.Ed preferred).
Nova Scotia Teacher Certification (or eligibility to obtain it).
Proficiency in French (native or near-native fluency).
Prior experience in teaching French (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Alignment with MMA’s mission and values.

Assets:

Experience working in Islamic or faith-based school settings.
Familiarity with CEFR and language teaching methodologies.
Ability to use digital tools and online platforms for instruction.
