Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students of various ages. This role involves teaching the French language, fostering a love for the language and culture, and helping students develop their communication skills. The French Teacher will also work collaboratively with other educators to support the diverse needs of all learners.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to different learning styles.
Teach French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while integrating cultural elements into lessons.
Utilize various instructional techniques and resources, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect among students.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance in mastering the French language.
Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate diverse learning needs within the classroom.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, French Language, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in both English and French; ability to proofread written materials effectively.
Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math concepts where applicable.
Experience with classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting all learners effectively.

Pay: $25.85-$28.20 per hour
