Freight Sorter - Afternoon Shift - (WAR00001434)
Description

As a PM Freight Sorter you will be focused on accurately sorting general freight to the correct destinations while handling it with care. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking to start their transport career. With support, growth and development from the leadership team and internal trainer, there is unlimited opportunity to progress your career.
As a Freight Sorter you will:
Monday to Friday 4:30pm Starts
Fulltime permanent opportunity
Manually handle the freight ensuring all freight is treated with care ensuring zero damages
Palletize carton freight and wrapping pallets
Ensure all item labels correctly are double checked to eliminate freight misdirects and loss of efficiency
Assist other department with securing freight in trucks, closing gates & curtains on trucks and any other Adhoc duties.
Strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, consistent outcomes, with attention to detail and cautious, fact-based decision-making.
Activities follow a consistent pace with a high degree of predictability, relying on well-defined processes and repeatable results.
Qualifications
