Freight broker (US Logistics)

Job description:

This is a night shift job where in you would be working in US times.

A senior freight broker serves as a communication between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:
• Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.
• Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
• Providing customers with shipping quotes.
• Booking orders with carriers.
• Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.
• Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.

Qualifications:
• Experience in US Logistics / Freight Brokerage / Trucking Industry may apply.
• Min. 1 year experience as freight broker
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding people skills.
• Proficient negotiating skills.
• This is a sales job that requires you to have solid operational skills, we are looking to hire people who want to grow professionally & personally as well.
