About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and creative designer to help us design and execute a state-of-the-art photography and videography studio. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in designing coworking spaces, hospitality spaces, or creative studios (e.g., photo or podcast studios). This role requires a dynamic individual skilled in prop and set creation, space planning, project management, and design execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Space Planning: Develop efficient and aesthetically pleasing layouts for a functional photography and videography studio.
• Prop and Set Creation: Assist in designing creative and modular props and sets for diverse photography and videography needs.
• Design Execution: Provide 2D drawings and 3D visualizations to bring design concepts to life.
• Sourcing and Procurement: Source materials, props, furniture, and other studio elements to fit the design vision and budget.
• Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in coworking spaces, hospitality, or creative studio design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools/software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on a fixed project timeline.
Compensation:
• Fixed project fee based on the scope of work and experience.
